Srinagar, February 25  (KNO) : Two police personnel were killed in cowardly attacks by terrorists in two separate incidents in Kashmir valley. A police personnel identified as SgCt Kultar Singh who was guarding a religious shrine in Chari-Sharief area of Budgam was attacked by terrorists and fled away with his service rifle (SLR).

Later on, the said personnel succumbed to his injuries at 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar. In one more terror attack, terrorists attacked the police constable Farooq Ahmad Yatoo who was guarding a separatist leader Fazal Haq Qureshi at his residence in Bilal Colony Soura. Terrorists also decamped with his service rifle.

The said police personnel succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura. Martyr Kultar Singh of Samba is survived by aged parents, wife and two sons. Cases in both the incidents have been registered and investigation set in motion.(KNO)
